Rules

Logging in and participation:

• Only individual participants will be allowed. (no team participation).
• Every participating individual must login through his/her institute email ID. (no entries through any personal email addresses will be accepted).
• At the start of the IPL, every participant must choose 4 teams that they think are going to qualify for the playoffs and also the team among them that is going to win.
• Before every match, each participant must predict the playing 11, the winning team and the man of the match.

Points scheme:

• Correctly guessing a playoff team: 25 points per correctly guessed team.
• Correctly guessing the winner: 25 points.
• Correctly guessing winner for each match: 10 points per match.
• Correctly guessing the man of the match: 10 points per match.
• Playing 11 guess: 1 point for each correctly guessed player

Max 'match score' possible in a match= 22+10+10 (11x2 playing 11’s + winner + MoTM)

Streak points:

If you play for continuous days, one point will be added in the streak, and the effective point for that match will be: Final match score + Streak points.

• Streak will reduce to half of it’s value if you miss one match, and the same pattern will follow.
• Streak points will freeze after 15 points and no further increment will be made. Keep in mind that even if your streak points are maximum (15), missing a match will reduce it to 15/2=7 and it can further again be increased to 15 by playing continuously.

Example: Let P denote match participated in and M denote a miss.

If someone participated and scored 20 points (match score) every day they played and :

Note: Zero for missing the match and after every M, streak points get halved.

Points table and winner:

• This is a branch wise competition, there are 9 teams as:

CSE, ECE, EE, MECH, META, CIVIL, M1, M2, PHD, Alumni

• Every day, the top 5 scorers from each team will contribute to the team’s score and those 5 names will be featured in everyday's leaderboard.
• The team wise scoreboard will be updated every day.
• The winning player will receive Ashvamedha merchandise and goodies.

Important Deadlines:

• Submissions for Champions' Den will not accepted after 23rd September 23:59 IST
• Submissions for playing XI of each match will not accepted after 7:00PM IST for night matches and 3:00PM IST for day matches
